It is a five-day riding course heading east from the beautiful city of Trujillo. It is a journey through the Bjorkas Geopark, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, through picturesque villages such as Versocana and Canyamero in the Bjorkas Mountains, and back to Trujillo in the Dehesa region. In Extremadura, you can appreciate the most iconic scenery.

Trujillo is not only famous for its monuments, but it is also the birthplace of the Peruvian conqueror, Francisco Pizarro, his brothers, and Francisco de Orejana, the first downstream explorer of the Amazon River. The mounted statue of Pizarro is also located in Mayor Square.
The scenery unfolding while enjoying horseback riding is truly spectacular. With oak and cork oak forests and pastures, Dehesa is the most iconic of the landscape in Ecstremadura, and the impressive scenery of Viluercas, a UNESCO World Geopark, is the best place to enjoy horseback riding with excellent horses. Emilio knows the terrain and horse-riding courses very well, and it will also give you some interesting information on the way.
This horse-riding course adjusts the speed according to the terrain, and combines walking, breaking news, and fast walking when possible. The average daily travel distance is 25 to 35 km. The landscape changes every day. Although you don't typically walk with your horses, you can exceptionally walk 20 minutes on the downhill on the third day.

Day 1 schedule
Meet me at Madrid's Barajas Adolfo Suarez Airport (MAD). The meeting is at 3 p.m., and it's about a two-and-a-half-hour drive from the airport to Trujillo.
When we arrive in Trujillo, we tour the beautiful city and enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. The dinner will feature a Jerebeque Trails horseback riding tour, and you'll also be able to hear instructions on the riding course and surrounding areas.
Day 2 schedule
First, go from Trujillo to Erclimaela. First, each person is assigned a horse. First, it is a relaxing day, which is when you meet your horses. You ride your horses through dehesa, or Mediterranean forests. It is the most similar ecosystem to what covered the region of Extremadura thousands of years ago. In the countryside, people enjoy a delicious paella, good wine, salad, fresh fruit, coffee, or a comfortable lunch with tea, chocolate, and biscuits. After lunch, we go to Garcias, where we will leave our horses for a while in the afternoon. There are no accommodations available in Garcias, so it's a 15-minute drive to Madronera. In Madronera, you stay with dinner in a small and beautiful country hotel. The riding time for this day is about five hours.
Day 3 schedule
We appreciate the beautiful scenery of the Mediterranean forests. Mainly evergreen oak, cork oak, and deciduous oak are growing. For a comfortable lunch enjoyed in the countryside, main dishes, salads, fresh fruits, coffee or tea and chocolate, and biscuits are served. Good wine, beer, and refreshments are also available, and the icebox is always available.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy the Bjorkas Mountains from Versocana, a beautiful small mountain town, while taking in the stunning views of Sierra de las Bjorkas. Dinner and lodging are served at a gorgeous country hotel where you can take in the fantastic sunset from Bjorkas Geopark. The riding time is about 7 hours
Day 4 schedule
From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the beautiful Villuercas scenery spread out 360 degrees in all directions. While enjoying horseback riding, you can observe various birds such as eagles, hawks, magpies, red-billed crows, flying rooks, and big crows.
Viluercas was designated as a UNESCO Geopark (2011) thanks to its high geological value, as well as its cultural and natural heritage. It is a typical rural area with fields surrounded by stone walls. Here, you can enjoy a comfortable lunch, and in the afternoon, you can gallop on your horse. Dinner and lodging are served in a cozy rural hotel. The riding time on day 4 is about 6 hours.

In the morning, I ride a horse in Dehesa and enjoy a light jog.
Day 6 schedule
Return to your starting point, enjoying long and fast breaking news and horse riding with Gubo in Dehesa Extremanya. After lunch in the countryside, you briefly go horseback riding in the afternoon.
Tour downtown Trujillo, and finally enjoy a farewell dinner at the hotel

After breakfast at the hotel, we leave Trujillo at 10 a.m. and arrive at Madrid airport around 12:30 p.m. So please avoid flights before 2 p.m. All participants will move at the same time.
If there are participants who need to arrive in Madrid earlier, all participants can either leave earlier or book a special trip for an additional fee.

They live in vast pine forests or communal pastures in the Sierra de Gredos, or in fertile grasslands in the dehesa region of Estremadura. They also have great physical strength, as they can walk about 20 km freely every day.

With more than 30 years of experience as a horseback-riding guide, Emilio takes you personally. Emilio is a professional rider who has a special ability to match horses and riders. He is leading the group with a horse, and it will be a fun experience to ride.
Emilio was born in the Sierra de Gredos, El Barco de Avila, and is the grandson of one of the most important Avilan cattle breeders in the region. He can speak English as a great horseback-riding guide,

It uses top quality British saddles and saddles with silicone seat savers and small saddle bags in front of the saddles. The saddles are in great condition and are very comfortable for horses and riders.
♣ Helmet
While we encourage you to wear a helmet, make sure your insurance clearly states that you can ride without a helmet, but you can ride without a helmet. You will also be asked to sign a disclaimer.
♣ Age limit
There is no upper age limit. If you are fit and strong, keep in mind that four to seven hours a day in the saddle is a long time. The minimum riding age is 10 years old and should be accompanied by an adult.

The journey from Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) to Navarredonda is about two hours.
The last day's trip back to the airport is 10 a.m., so you can arrive at the airport around noon. So book a flight that doesn't leave before 2 p.m.
Groups of four or more include transportation from and arriving from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD). However, if you travel with fewer than four people, you will need to pay extra for transportation. For example, if you have three customers, the cost of transportation from and to the airport is 50 euros per person, and if you have two customers, the cost of transportation from and to the airport is 75 euros per person.
