Jerevec Trails Horseback riding gives you a chance to experience the herding cultural tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. Experience horseback riding from Extremadura to the Gredos Mountains in the spring and from Gredos to Extremadura in the fall (one with nature on horseback).

The service provided by the accommodation is top-notch. It ranges from charming country hotels in town to excellent four-star hotels in downtown Trujillo. Over the course of a week, support vehicles will help you with breakfast, lunch, dinner time, and even luggage transportation. It is a seven-day journey that runs from the Middle Ages along the Can ̃ Reales to the northern Sierra de Gredos. It runs long distances across various regions, from the winter pastures of Estrremadura to the summer pastures of the Gredos Mountains. Spain has as many old cattle drive paths left to support its past herding economy. In Spain, these paths are called "Canyadas Reales," and they are 75 m wide and around 800 km long. These old paths mean more than just routes for livestock to be sent to the market.
This particular ride is a journey of 200 kilometers from Trujillo to Navaredonda de Gredos, or vice versa, along the 75-meter-wide 'Cagnada Real' path that has a thousand years of history. It crosses three regions of Spain (Estremadura, Castilla La Mancha, Castilla León) and passes through the provinces of Cáceres, Toledo, and Avila.
This product is a true nomadic tour that travels long distances across different regions, which is very different from the average nomadic tour. The tour takes place along Canyadas Reales at a variety of speeds, including walking, breaking news, and long walks. The average daily travel distance is 25 to 35 km, and the total travel distance is about 200 km.

Day 1: Madrid - Trujillo
We meet at Madrid's Barajas-Adolfo Suarez Airport (MAD) around 3 p.m. and head to Trujillo. It takes about two and a half hours by car. When we arrive at Trujillo, we tour the beautiful city and enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. After dinner, we have time to learn about herding by riding the Herbeke Trail.
Day 2: Trujillo - Haraseho
After about five minutes of travel from the Trujillo Hotel to the horserace, horses are assigned. They enjoy horseback riding along with "Cagnada Real," and have lunch with a delicious locally cooked paella. In the afternoon, they cross the beautiful medieval bridge, pass the Almonte River, and ride horses to Lake Harase. The last leg is a cozy country inn, which also serves dinner. The riding time on day two is expected to be about five hours.
Day3: Jaraicejo - Casas de Miravete
After breakfast, you ride your horse along an open country road that boasts Dehesa and beautiful scenery. After lunch, you enjoy a short horse ride to Casas de Miravete, a small village located in the beautiful nature of Monfragé National Park. For dinner, you can eat at a local restaurant where you can taste local food, and stay overnight at a country inn. The horse-riding time on day three is expected to be about six hours.
Day4: Casas de Miravete - Navalmoral de la Mata
In the morning, we ride our horses along "Cagnada Real" and enjoy the magnificent view of Sierra de Gredos. It crosses the Alvalat Bridge (16th Century), one of the important public structures constructed during the reign of Charles I of Spain and Germany, on which the emperor's shield with double-headed eagles is embossed. For lunch, they enjoy a picnic at the Tagus River Reservoir, and then ride their horses to Navalmoral de la Mataro. In the evening, they stay in a small hotel after meals. The fourth day of riding is expected to be seven hours.
Day5: Navalmoral de la Mata - Las Ventas de San Julian
After breakfast, we depart and have an enjoyable time running along the flat area of ̃ Real. Here, Canada Real boasts its unique shape, which can be as wide as 200 m. After enjoying it until the afternoon, it moves to the stunning "Parador de Oropesa" for dinner and lodging. It is the site that restored a medieval castle and transformed it into a four-star hotel with a luxurious and magical atmosphere. Dinner here is served as a la carte and no drinks are included. Day 5 horse riding time is expected to be around 6 hours.
Day 6: Las Ventas de San Julian - Navalkan
After breakfast, leave and follow the Can ̃ Real.
Move along. As the scenery changes, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Gredos Mountains by riding your horse along the waterfront of a reservoir near Navalcán. Dinner and lodging are served at Navalcán's cozy country inn. Day 6 horse riding time is also expected to be around six hours
Day7: Navalcán - Mombeltrán
Today is the day from Navalny to Body Beltran. We're taking the Canada change for the Gredos Mountains. It passes through Toledo and into Avila in Castile and Leon. After dinner, we'll stay at a hotel in Body Beltran. The seventh day of riding is also expected to take about six hours.
Day8: Mombeltrán - Navarredonda de Gredos
After breakfast, they begin to climb along the Roman road, which boasts a history of more than 2,000 years. The road was also used for the movement of Roman forces and the transport of metals. Crossing the Sierra de Gredos mountain range through the mountain path Puerto Del Pico, it was used as a livestock route in the Middle Ages and is still maintained throughout the centuries. Passing the picturesque mountain town of Cuevas del Valle, you climb the mountain along the Roman road while enjoying the magnificent view. Equestrian time is expected to be around six hours today as well.
Day 9: Navaredonda de Gredos - Madrid - Barajas Adolfo Suarez Airport (MAD)
After breakfast at the hotel, we leave Navaredonda de Gredos at 10 a.m. and arrive at Madrid Airport at around 12:30 a.m. So, please avoid flights departing before 2 p.m. All participants will travel together, and if participants have to arrive in Madrid earlier, they can add special mobile services for an additional fee.

Mammen will also delight your mouth by offering tapas consisting of serrano ham, Manchego cheese, olives, nuts, and more in unexpected places. After the meal, you can enjoy a nap in the secluded countryside.

Use top quality British saddles and saddles with silicone seat savers and small saddle bags in front of the saddles. All saddles are in good condition and are very comfortable for horses and riders.

While we encourage you to wear a helmet, you must clearly state that you can ride without a helmet, but in insurance you can ride without a helmet. You will also be asked to sign a disclaimer.

There is no upper age limit. If you are fit and strong, keep in mind that four to seven hours a day in the saddle is a long time. The minimum riding age is 10 years old and should be accompanied by an adult.

The journey from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) to Navarredonda is about two hours. The last day's journey back to the airport is 10 a.m., so you can arrive at the airport around noon. So, book a flight that does not depart before 2 p.m.
